I'm making a shirred (faux smocked) summer dresses for my 3 yo. Ginghers are the best scissors! Maybe after I make my daughter's dress, I'll make one for me.

My next project is to make a valance for my craft room. Its an easy project, I just haven't gotten around to it because I've been busy. Although if I won these scissors I would give them to my mom because she is an AMAZING sewer and would treasure them.

not sure if this counts, but my next three sewing projects are assisting my 15 year old to finish her denim quilt for the fair, help her choose and make an outfit for the 4-H fashion revue and help my 9 year old pick out and complete her first sewing project.

I am making curtains for my closet door. I took out the old door that always came off the track and decided to make fabric curtains instead!

I guess my next one is not a "real" totaly sewing project. But I'm doing the challenge on Fiskateers with the altered chair and I'm recovering the seat with Heidi Grace fabric in what I hope will be a quilt design.

My daughter and I have been making pouches to hold a couple diapers and wipes. They are great little gifts to add to a box of diapers for a shower gift!

My mil has hired me to make her two garden tote bags for friends of hers. I made her one for Mother's Day, and she knew her friends would enjoy them. After that, I want to make my 2 dd's some short outfits.

I have access to my sewing machine and supplies now that I cleaned up the area (just in time for a graduation party) so I am going to finally cover and sew on the buttons to the cushions I made last summer for my outdoor furniture. Then I am going to try making a jean purse out of my daughter's old blue jeans because I found a fabulous leather belt on clearance that will make a wonderful handle/strap.

That is really a nice pair of scissors! I am new to sewing and a nice elderly lady is helping me learn. Our next project is to make aprons for our local school so the children can have art class. They cant buy aprons with the new budget and clothes are expensive to be stained all the time!
