What a neat concept and great for people to water that plants and for those that live in the country.

Great Idea! I would have never of thought of something like that!

What a fabulous idea, we could do with one of these. We currently also collect our washing machine water to use on the plants - I am sure we could connect one of these up to work with that too.

This would be great to use especially for those people that live in areas that have to be careful about their water usuage.

I love this I was drooling over it on the fiskars site. We have well and septic and during the dry summer months need to conserve water, this would be perfect to help with that!

I love the idea. And it looks so easy. I will have to direct my husband to your link and see how we can work this into our house. Thanks for idea.

Love that Fiskars is making this!! I am SOOOOOO going to show this to my DH in the monring!! I just wished it rained more here in Southern California. I could see us putting these in at our home even for the little rain we do get...every little bit helps.

I saw this at Lowes and being in the south where we get a lot of summer time heat and drought we thought this was awesome. We've lost part of our veggy garden because of lack of ran and having a well you can always use it. After reading about the system on Fiskars.com I know my husband and I could make the greatest use of this.

I love this I have to admit I collect rain water in a garbage can and reuse it but this would be so much better. ..

I absolutely think this is GENIUS !! Connecting it to the downspouts in that way. I saw this last week and was telling Kelly Jo how beautiful this was and how much I would love to have one! I had no idea Fiskars had these in their line now!
We too, have septic and well, so we try to be conservative with our watering!
Way to go FISKARS ! This is a beautiful product!

we collect rain water (for our plants)all the time but we don't have such a fancy barrel with an outlet!!

I have been watching these and actually thinking how kewl it is. I used the keep all my pails etc under spots that had run off but my dh hated what it did to the lawn under it so he put a stop to that. Now I just keep my wheel barrow out and collect the rainfall from there!

These rainbarrels look great for collecting water to help in the garden and save the water from the well.

My husband would love this... he does all the yard and garden stuff... I am a total black thumb, lol!

We're having lots of fun in our new community garden plot this year. We've had our eye on this rain barrel for some time--lots of neat features.

I think that this is a fabulous idea!!!! My grandmother was true believer that rain water was the only way to go for your flower and gardens....what a great way to update the tradition :)

I really like the connect system, where it fills but doesn't let it overflow and set. With the threat of mosquito's you can't have standing water here. I plan on getting one or two of these this year.

I've been looking at this, but just haven't had the money to buy it. I've turned my front yard into a vegetable garden and rainwater would sure help out this summer. I'm looking forward to harvesting all those tomatoes we've got planted!

This is one of those things... where my first thought is "This is such a great idea! Why wasn't this available years ago!"
The best features:
1) overflow control
2) lid to keep the kids/mosquitoes out!
3) I can connect the water balloon /squirt gun filler to the hose!
